    Connect Bed is based on traditional craftsmanship combined with computer-controlled state-of-the-art tools and processes that have become commonplace in today's world of contemporary designers, creating a minimalist, industrial look.

    The result is a razor-sharp design with a precise design that simply consists of four elements: two side and two end rails, which slide into each other and are fastened with eight screws. The screws, set in a bare frame, become an interesting detail in themselves and their joints refer to traditional carpentry work.

    Leif Jørgensen is a Danish designer and architect based in Copenhagen, who founded his first design business in 1989. He works in the field of interior and exterior architecture and product design. He has special experience in retail design and has created a range of concepts for the fashion industry along with products, office space and private homes. His approach is dictated by a desire to develop original ideas and push the boundaries of traditional product typologies using new techniques and production methods.
