The new Vesa Plate comes with an upgraded feature of adjusting the friction resistance of the portrait-to-landscape rotation. When mounting larger/ wider monitors with offset weight distribution, it can sometimes cause the screen to rotate to one side under the effect of uneven weight distribution. The new Vesa plate permits the friction resistance to be adjusted to compensate for this unwanted rotation. Features: The new VESA Plate is very similar in appearance but comes with a few significant functional changes: 1. Addition of the friction adjustment feature. 2. The quick-release paddle is now square shape compared with the tapered shape in the older version for easily differentiating the two product variants. 3. Security screw is directly inserted into plastic in the new version rather than via brass insert on the old version which engages the VESA plate to remain locked to the arm. ~ Fit & Compatibility: Initially, the New Vesa Plate will be introduced first as an individually packaged ‘accessory’ component (it will be a direct replacement for the existing VESA plate MM-DYN/013/AS15/B, which will be obsolete once the new product rollout is complete) and will also be included as part of the new Flo Plus Single Head Mount [MM-DYN/SHM/002/B] (refer to the separate product release bulletin). The new Vesa Plate rollout will subsequently be carried out as a standard product on Ollin, Flo, and Wishbone Family Arms later in the year Important Note: The New Vesa Plate is not recommended for use on Lima Monitor Arms.
